BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) - North Dakota’s Game and Fish Department has set tentative opening dates for next year’s hunting seasons.

The dates will become official with Gov. Jack Dalrymple’s approval.

Tentative 2016 opening dates for some major seasons include spring turkey on April 9, mountain lions on Sept. 2, grouse on Sept. 10, waterfowl on Oct. 1, pronghorn on Oct. 7, pheasants and fall turkey on Oct. 8 and deer gun on Nov. 4.
