HAM LAKE, Minn. (AP) - Authorities have identified a 5-year-old girl who was killed in a mobile home fire in Ham Lake.

The blaze broke out shortly after midnight Sunday at the home in the Flamingo Terrace mobile home park.

The Anoka County Sheriff’s Office says 36-year-old Scott Andrus was able to pull his daughter, Jaidyn Grace Andrus of Elk River, from her bedroom, but she later died at a local hospital. He also was taken to the hospital, where he remains, with injuries that aren’t considered to be life-threatening.

Investigators believe the fire started in the child’s bedroom. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
