LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - Minor flooding is expected in parts of Arkansas after more heavy rainfall hit the state over the weekend.

The National Weather Service has issued flood warnings for several areas throughout the state. Forecasters say the flooding is expected or will continue on tributaries of the Arkansas, Cache, Fourche LaFave, Ouachita, Petit Jean and lower White Rivers.

Other parts of the state are seeing some strong winds following the weekend rains. A lake wind advisory remains in effect through noon Monday with gusts of up to 35 mph expected in some areas.

Many areas also saw damaging winds on Sunday. According to the Storm Prediction Center, strong winds downed power lines and a tree in Columbia County, while trees were knocked over in Union County.
