PITTSBURGH (AP) - Pittsburgh police are trying to find two men they believe shot a 64-year-old jitney driver in the legs as they attempted to rob him.

Police aren’t identifying the victim, but say he was taken to UPMC Mercy hospital after the attempted robbery about 4:30 p.m. Sunday.

Police believe the victim may have been trying to get out of his vehicle to avoid being robbed when he was shot once in each leg before the suspects ran away.

Police were trying to identify the suspects Monday.
