SOUTH JORDAN, Utah (AP) - Police say a Utah man stabbed his uncle during an argument over a cellphone bill.

South Jordan Police Lt. Matt Pennington says the two men were arguing outside the nephew’s home in the Salt Lake City suburb on Sunday afternoon.

Pennington says officers arrived quickly because a third person had called police about the argument before the stabbing.

He says the uncle was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Authorities say there is no indication that drugs or alcohol were a factor in the stabbing. Detectives were still questioning the nephew on Sunday evening.
