NIAGARA, N.Y. (AP) - Authorities say a western New York man struck two people with his car outside a bar over the weekend.

State troopers say 34-year-old Brian Moody was involved in a fight outside Soliday’s bar in the town of Niagara early Sunday morning and hit two people who were standing outside the tavern.

Police say the Niagara Falls man took off, but was quickly taken into custody.

The victims were treated for minor injuries and released from hospitals.

Moody is charged with reckless driving, driving while intoxicated and unlawful possession of marijuana.

He’s being held in the Niagara County Jail on $5,000 bail.

It’s unclear if he has an attorney who could comment on the charges.
