ROLESVILLE, N.C. (AP) - Rolesville Fire Chief Bobby W. Langston II has called the fire that killed two people and injured a third at a Rolesville home “suspicious.”

Langston tells media outlets that the fire killed a woman and a 3-year-old child Friday morning. Another 3-year-old was taken to the burn center at UNC Hospitals in Chapel Hill. Authorities haven’t provided identities of the victims.

Richland Creek Community Church in Wake Forest said on its Facebook page Friday afternoon that church member Kristy Bryan and one of her twin boys were killed.

A 6-year-old girl who also lives at the home was at school when the fire occurred. A man who lives at the home was at work.

Langston says authorities are investigating the fire as “suspicious,” but would not elaborate.
