BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) - Police have arrested a 20-year-old Baton Rouge man in the slaying of a 14-year-old boy who was shot Friday while he was a passenger in a car.

Baton Rouge police spokesman Cpl. Don Coppola tells The Advocate (https://bit.ly/1NR1mXK) Carson Thomas was booked into Parish Prison Monday on a count of first-degree murder in the death of Desmond Bryant, who died Sunday night.

Coppola says the shooting is still under investigation.
