WHITE MARSH, Md. (AP) - Maryland State Police say a severely decomposed body has been found on a roadside in Baltimore County.

Authorities say they have not yet made a positive identification of the body, which was found about 10 a.m. Wednesday by highway maintenance workers on the eastbound ramp of Route 43 approaching southbound I-95 in White Marsh.

Crime scene technicians and investigators from the state police homicide unit were called to the scene.

The body was taken to the medical examiner’s office in Baltimore.

Police say the eastbound ramp of Route 43 getting on to I-95 southbound will remain closed as investigators continue their work.
