COLUMBUS, Ga. (AP) - A Georgia man has pleaded guilty to threatening to kill a former adult film actress.

The U.S. attorney’s office in Macon says 25-year-old Brian K. Blankenship of Columbus pleaded guilty Wednesday to one count of making threats in interstate communications.

Prosecutors say the FBI got a tip in August about threats made against former adult film actress Malena Morgan. Prosecutors say Blankenship posted the threats on social networking sit Periscope under the user name Joe Cook.

Prosecutors say he threatened to kill Morgan in a variety of ways and said he would record the killing and post it on social media. Blankenship told investigators he made the threats after Morgan refused to publicly acknowledge gifts he had sent her.

Blankenship will remain in custody until his sentencing on April 12.
