FONTANA, Calif. (AP) - Authorities say detectives have linked the homicide of a man in Fontana to the three bodies that were found in a burning SUV in the city of Orange last month.

Fontana police say the body with gunshot wounds was found Nov. 15 in the back seat of a car.

The Orange County Register reports (https://bit.ly/1YncBsu) the man was identified as 35-year-old Joel Berrelleza. He was the brother of 26-year-old Edgar Berrelleza-Soto - one of the three homicide victims found in the burning GMC Yukon Nov. 9.

Lt. Fred Lopez of the Orange Police Department says investigators believe that the four homicides are related. They did not release further details, citing the ongoing investigation.

Coroner’s officials say at least two of the men found in the SUV had also been shot.
