LOS ANGELES (AP) - Los Angeles fire officials say a 65-year-old man was found dead after flames ripped through a Koreatown apartment.

Fire department spokeswoman Margaret Stewart says the blaze in the three-story building was knocked down in about 15 minutes late Wednesday. The fire was contained to one unit.

After the blaze was extinguished crews found the man’s body inside the damaged apartment. His name was not immediately released.

The fire’s cause is under investigation.
