POPLAR BLUFF, Mo. (AP) - Police have located a pickup truck that may have been involved in a deadly hit-and-run crash in southeast Missouri.

Poplar Bluff police say the truck is being processed for physical evidence. KFVS-TV (https://bit.ly/1Qvsu0J ) reports that the evidence will be sent to the Missouri State Highway Patrol’s crime lab for forensic examination.

Thirteen-year-old Heavenly Hafford died earlier this month after she was hit by a car and then a truck. Both drivers left the scene of the crash.

Police say they located the car at a storage unit business and arrested the driver. The car had damage and missing pieces that were consistent with pieces of evidence found at the crash site.
