CLEVELAND (AP) - A Cleveland man has been charged in federal court on two counts related to human trafficking for employing two 14-year-old girls as prostitutes.

Twenty-two-year-old Ronnie Pratt Jr. was indicted Wednesday after his arrest in early November. An FBI affidavit says Pratt placed advertisements on a web site soliciting sex with the girls.

The affidavit says one of the girls was 13 when she began working for Pratt, who’s now in federal custody.

The affidavit says Pratt was arrested after driving one of the girls to a suburban Cleveland hotel where he had arranged for her to be paid $180 to have sex with what turned out to be an undercover FBI agent. The girls told investigators that Pratt knew their real ages.

Pratt’s attorney declined to comment on Wednesday.
