FAIRBANKS, Alaska (AP) - The death of a 57-year-old Fairbanks man is being investigated as a homicide.

Alaska State Troopers say an autopsy by the state medical examiner determined that Ronald McKnight did not die of natural causes.

Troopers on Dec. 10 received a report that McKnight had been found dead at his home west of Fairbanks.

Troopers say McKnight’s truck was stolen after his death.

The truck is a distinctive green utility truck with doors and a 3-inch horizontal white stripe down the side. The truck bed is topped by a red truck topper. The truck has numerous small rust spots on the body and bed.

The license plate is JAX474.
