CLEVELAND (AP) - The Anti-Defamation League and the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Cleveland are sponsoring an interactive seminar for the community regarding hate crimes and hate crime laws.

The 90-minute seminar Thursday morning will have officials discussing the difference between hate crimes and bias-related crimes, state and federal hate crime statutes and how to determine when a hate crime has been committed.

A spokesman for the U.S. attorney says community activists, law enforcement officials and members of religious and civil rights groups have been invited to attend.
