GEORGETOWN, Ky. (AP) - Georgetown College has received a $598,000 grant to establish a 12-day summer program for high school youth.

Media outlets report Faithways Academy is scheduled to begin in June 2016. The program is an on-campus living experience for rising sophomores to graduating seniors from all denominations. The program includes instruction in biblical knowledge and interpretation, church tradition and theology, worship, Christian ethics, travel for a mission experience and recreational community-building activities.

Information about registration and tuition will be available on the college website in March 2016.

Georgetown College is one of 82 schools participating in the initiative.
