DENVER (AP) - A jury has convicted a man of shooting two women to death in a Denver apartment.

The Denver Post reports (https://goo.gl/ld1s9p ) jurors deliberated for an hour and half before finding 24-year-old Jose King guilty Thursday of two counts of first-degree murder in the Oct. 29, 2014, deaths of 19-year-old Amanda Anders and 22-year-old Nancy Worrell.

Investigators say King told them he shot the two during an argument, but he could not remember why he was arguing with the women, who were his roommate and a friend.

King was arrested in Castle Rock.
