PHILADELPHIA (AP) - Authorities say a 34-year-old man who was shot and killed while walking his two dogs was slain after an argument in west Philadelphia.

Investigators tell The Philadelphia Inquirer (https://nwsdy.li/1Paqh7z ) Mark Marshall was walking his two Chihuahuas at about 7:45 p.m. Wednesday when he and another man began to argue just a block away from his home. Police say the man pulled out a handgun and opened fire, shooting Marshall several times.

Marshall was pronounced dead at a hospital.

The suspect is described as a man in a gray hoodie and an orange hat. Investigators say he jumped into the passenger seat of a silver minivan that fled the scene.
