LARGO, Md. (AP) - A Morgan State University student is dead after a head-on collision in Largo.

The Maryland State Police says officers responded to the crash Thursday around 10:30 p.m. on MD 202 at Old Largo Road. State Police says the driver of a white Cadillac DeVille lost control, crossed the center line and drove into the path of a Nissan Altima.

State Police say the driver of the Nissan, identified as 20-year-old Adedire Ososanya of Upper Marlboro, was pronounced dead at the scene. Morgan State said in a statement that Ososanya was a marketing major at the university.

The driver of the Cadillac was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
