CARY, N.C. (AP) - Authorities say someone killed the 51-year-old woman found dead by her son in her Cary home

City officials said in a news release that the medical examiner ruled Nalini Tellaprolu’s death a homicide.

Her body was found around 3 p.m. Thursday. In a 911 call released by the city of Cary an unidentified man says he and Tellaprolu’s son found Tellaprolu dead when they opened the garage door.

Officials blanked out parts of the call, including what sounds like the 911 caller starting to talk about the woman’s injuries. Authorities in the Raleigh suburb did not release how she died or other details about the case. No arrests have been made.

Investigators say this is the third homicide in Cary in 2015.
