ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) - Alaska State Troopers say three people died Tuesday night in a two-car highway crash outside of Wasilla.

Troopers say a northbound sedan driven by 25-year-old Sara Johnston crossed into the southbound lane of the Parks Highway and struck a minivan driven by 33-year-old Jacob Still.

The van burst into flames.

Johnson was killed in the crash. Two passengers in the minivan driven by Still also died in the crash.

Troopers took a call on the crash just after 9 p.m.

Troopers closed the highway at Mile 50 after the crash.
