SALT LAKE CITY (AP) - Four Republican presidential candidates have signed up so far to participate in Utah’s GOP presidential caucus next year.

Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush’s campaign submitted paperwork with the state Republican Party on Tuesday to appear as a candidate at March neighborhood caucus meetings.

The Salt Lake Tribune reports (https://bit.ly/1l80EdY ) billionaire Donald Trump, retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson and Texas Sen. Ted Cruz have already filed to participate in the GOP contest in Utah.

The Utah Democratic Party says former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, former Maryland Gov. Martin O’Malley and Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders have said they intend to participate in Utah’s Democratic caucus but have not completed paperwork with the party.

The caucuses will occur on March 22 when Utah Republicans and Democrats are also picking delegates to represent them at later nominating conventions for state and county political offices.
