PITTSBURGH (AP) - A downtown Pittsburgh barbershop owned by a black man has been targeted with graffiti referencing racial slurs and the Ku Klux Klan.

Victor Musgrove, the owner of VIP Styles, praised police for taking the incident seriously since the graffiti was discovered Monday morning by a receptionist who arrived to open the business.

The graffiti says, “We are KKK” and then “We kill” and “No” -both followed by a racial slur.

Police haven’t identified any suspects and haven’t said whether surveillance video from any nearby businesses has led to any clues.

Musgrove says he’s owned the shop for 12 years and isn’t deterred by the graffiti.

He says the shop serves customers from “all walks of life … all races, all nationalities, all religious beliefs.”
