ANTIOCH, Calif. (AP) - Police have arrested a man and a woman in the shooting of a store clerk during a robbery at a 7-Eleven in a San Francisco Bay Area suburb.

KRON reports (https://bit.ly/1Trm415 ) Tuesday that police responded to a robbery at the convenience store on Lone Tree Way shortly after midnight.

The store clerk was taken to a hospital. His condition is unknown at this time. His name and age were not released.

Antioch Police say that shortly after the robbery, officers stopped a car thought to have been involved and arrested Angelo Nonoamaya and Rebecca Hernandez on attempted murder, robbery, burglary, conspiracy and accessory charges.

The manager of the 7-Eleven says the store never keeps more than $40 of cash in the register, the station reported.

Police are investigating the incident. Authorities do not have a description of the suspect.
