WILMINGTON, Del. (AP) - The Delaware State Police is investigating the robbery of a Wilmington gas station.

State Police says it happened Tuesday around 9:45 p.m. State Police says that a man entered the Dash In at 4598 Kirkwood Highway and confronted a clerk. State Police say the man implied that he was armed and demanded money from the cash register.

State Police say the clerk handed over an undisclosed amount of money and the man fled.

State Police described the suspect as a while male between 5 feet 9 inches and 5 feet 11 inches tall. They say he weighed between 165 and 180 pounds and was last seen wearing a hooded sweatshirt, gray pants and blue and white sneakers. State Police say he wore a dark mask covering his face.
