CONCORD, N.H. (AP) - Gov. Maggie Hassan says six New Hampshire companies have been awarded grants to help train 130 workers.

The companies matched the funds to bring the total amount for training workers to over $154,000.

The companies are Associated Grocers of New England Inc. of Pembroke; Delta Dental Plan of NH in Concord; Globe Manufacturing Company LLC of Pittsfield; Titeflex Aerospace (Smith Tubular Systems Inc.) of Laconia; GL&V; USA Inc. of Nashua; and Whitney Brothers Company of Keene.

The Job Training Fund has awarded over $8.4 million in grants since October 2007.
