ROCK SPRINGS, Wyo. (AP) - A man is going to trial after pleading not guilty to charges in his infant daughter’s death.

The Rock Springs Rocket-Miner reports (https://bit.ly/21viFU2) Jacob Anthony Triplett pleaded not guilty to first-degree murder, three counts of aggravated child abuse and two counts of child abuse. His trial is set for May 9.

Four-month-old Susan Triplett died in September 2014. Doctors determined she was malnourished and dehydrated, and an autopsy found signs of child abuse.

Court documents say Susan’s twin and two boys in the home, ages 2 and 4, were malnourished and showed signs of abuse as well.

Amanda Dawn Triplett is awaiting sentencing after pleading no contest in August to second-degree murder, aggravated child abuse and two counts of child abuse.

She has agreed to testify against Triplett.
