ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) - An Orlando firefighter has pleaded not guilty to accusations of driving under the influence.

The Orlando Sentinel (https://bit.ly/1OFhudP ) reports an attorney for 22-year-old Korey Steinert filed pleas of not guilty on all nine counts including driving under the influence and criminal mischief with damage of more than $1,000.

Officials arrested Steinert on Sept. 7 after they say he crashed into 18 parked cars while off-duty. He was initially charged with leaving the scene of an accident with property damage. His charges were upgraded in November.

Steinert remains on active duty. The Orlando Fire Department has opened an internal investigation.
