PHILADELPHIA (AP) - A teenager has been ordered to stand trial in the death of a Chinese food deliveryman who was shot while dropping off an order in Philadelphia.

The Philadelphia Inquirer reports (https://bit.ly/1NpCt5d ) the 16-year-old boy’s mother was also held in contempt of court Monday for taking a cellphone photo of a witness.

Two teens were originally charged in the killing of 49-year-old Rendong Zheng in April. But the murder charge against the second boy was dropped after the 15-year-old agreed to testify against the older boy.

The teen’s mother, Tanya Duffy, was sentenced to up to five months behind bars for photographing the younger boy.

Her attorney says she wanted to take a picture of the courtroom. But prosecutors say she wanted to let her neighborhood know who the “rat” was.
