SALT LAKE CITY (AP) - Police are using a helicopter to search for a man believed to be linked to a woman’s death near the southern Utah town of Mexican Hat.

KUTV in Salt Lake City reported Wednesday (https://bit.ly/1QUSh2f) that officials with the San Juan County Sheriff’s Office are looking for an unnamed 45-year-old man who argued with the slain 62-year-old woman over a land dispute in nearby Mexican Water, Arizona.

The sheriff’s office says that Navajo Nation Police and the FBI have joined them in the search along with a Utah Department of Public Safety helicopter.

The man’s truck was found stuck in the desert in San Juan County, and the woman’s body was found hidden underneath a tree.

Mexican Hat is about 360 miles south of Salt Lake City, in the Four Corners region.
