NEWARK, N.J. (AP) - Public Service Electric and Gas customers are paying less for electricity.

New Jersey’s largest utility says annual electric bills are nearly 4 percent less because another charge related to energy restructuring expired on Tuesday.

PSE&G; says the change, coupled with an earlier reduction, means the typical residential customer’s electric bill was $85 less this year.
