HAMLIN, N.Y. (AP) - A member of a western New York police department has been charged with stalking and harassing two people.

State police say investigators arrested 54-year-old Lloyd H. Christ III of Hamlin on Tuesday afternoon and charged with official misconduct, stalking and aggravated harassment.

Troopers say Christ is currently employed by as a police officer in the Monroe County village of Hamlin, on Lake Ontario 20 miles west of Rochester.

Authorities have released any details of the investigation.

Christ was arraigned in Hamlin Town Court and released on his own recognizance. It couldn’t be determined if he has a lawyer who could comment on the charges.
