CASTLETON, Vt. (AP) - Castleton University and the Vermont Law School have reached an agreement that will guarantee qualified Castleton students admission to certain programs at the law school.

Castleton and the law school announced the agreement on Friday.

The agreement says that any Castleton University student with a grade point average of 3.0 or higher is guaranteed admission into any of the law school masters programs.

The law school also guarantees admission to the legal program to any Castleton student whose GPA and standardized test score exceed the median score of the current law school class.

Castleton University is one of the schools in the Vermont State College system.
