FARGO, N.D. (AP) - A Fargo man is accused of distributing large quantities of methamphetamine in Fargo and in Sisseton, South Dakota.

Roble Hernandez is charged in federal court with conspiracy to distribute a controlled substance. He has not entered a plea.

KFGO radio says investigators were told that the Hernandez was being used as a “stash house” for a drug trafficking organization. The affidavit says a woman who lived with Hernandez had stolen five pounds of meth and that members of the cartel came to Fargo and assaulted her to gain information about the missing drugs.

Sources told investigators that the meth was kept in multiple, gallon-sized zip lock bags. Investigators kept track of Hernandez with a GPS device attached to his vehicle.

Court documents do not list an attorney for Hernandez.
