ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) - Albuquerque police have made an arrest in a stabbing of a man in the northwest part of the city.

Police say officers were called to Calle Cuervo near Loma Larga Road around 2:20 a.m. Sunday about a possible stabbing.

They found a man who had been stabbed after some sort of disturbance.

He was taken to a hospital with severe injuries.

Officer Simon Drobik says the victim’s prognosis for recovery is poor.

Drobik says a suspect is in custody and is being questioned.

Police did not release any additional information.
