WILMINGTON, N.C. (AP) - Authorities say a drive-by shooting in Wilmington has killed one teen and wounded four other people.

Wilmington Police Spokeswoman Linda Rawley says in an email that officials believe the shooting Sunday morning is gang-related.

Rawley says that officers found 16-year-old Shane Simpson dead when they arrived. Four others had what appeared to be non-life-threatening wounds and were taken to a hospital.

Authorities believe a dark-colored sedan drove by the group and someone in the car fired multiple shots.

Rawley says police are looking for a person of interest.
