TAYLORSVILLE, Utah (AP) - A teenager learning how to drive was behind the wheel of a car that crashed into a Taylorsville bagel shop.

KSL-TV in Salt Lake City reports (https://bit.ly/1JlM0oO) that the incident happened Saturday around noon.

According to Unified fire officials, a 15-year-old girl was practicing driving put the car in the wrong gear and hit the accelerator pedal.

Fire Capt. Jay Stevens says the car immediately went forward and through the window of an Einstein Bro. Bagels.

No one was injured.

Stevens says it was obviously an accident with a teenage driver who had just gotten her learner’s permit.
