MILWAUKEE (AP) - More Wisconsin National Guard soldiers have returned home for the holidays.

Soldiers from the 2nd Battalion, 135th Aviation returned to Milwaukee Sunday morning. The Journal Sentinel (https://bit.ly/1Iilfqo ) reports the six soldiers were the final group from the unit to return after a seven-month mobilization to Kuwait.

About 30 soldiers from the unit, headquartered in West Bend, have returned over the past week. The soldiers returned to Wisconsin after completing demobilization requirements at Fort Hood, Texas.

The commander is scheduled to return to the U.S. on Monday. He is expected to be back in Wisconsin by Christmas.

The unit flies Black Hawk helicopters. It accrued more than 1,200 flight hours and responded to 14 medevac missions during the deployment.
