SUMMERSVILLE, W.Va. (AP) - The U.S. Small Business Administration is closing its disaster loan outreach center in Summersville.

The SBA says in a news release that the center will cease operations at 4 p.m. Tuesday.

The center helps individuals affected by Hurricane Sandy to complete loan applications and answers questions from affected businesses and residents.

Disaster loan applications can be downloaded from www.sba.gov/disaster and mailed to the SBA. Businesses and residents also can submit applications online at the SBA’s secure website, https://disasterloan.sba.gov/ela.

The deadline to file applications for physical property damage and economic injury is Dec. 1, 2016.
