NEWARK, N.J. (AP) - Delays are beginning to ease on New Jersey Transit trains heading in and out of New York City after a problem involving the Portal Bridge was fixed.

NJ Transit says there was an issue with the rail locks on one of the tracks Monday.

The problem delayed trains up to 30 minutes on the Northeast Corridor, North Jersey Coast, Raritan Valley, Morris & Essex and Montclair-Boonton lines.
