PENFIELD, N.Y. (AP) - Authorities say a head-on crash in western New York has left one person dead and another injured.

The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office says it happened around 7 p.m. Sunday in Penfield.

Investigators say a car driven by 31-year-old Michael Deyager of Webster crossed the center line, collided with a sport utility vehicle and rolled over. Deyager was killed. Authorities say the driver of the SUV, 32-year-old Kristina Cristofori, was taken to a hospital with injuries that aren’t life-threatening.

The cause of the crash is being investigated.
