BEDFORD, Ohio (AP) - Authorities say a Cleveland man is back in custody after he escaped from a northeast Ohio jail through a faulty door.

Cleveland.com reports (https://bit.ly/1ZjyxHd ) police said Sunday that the 29-year-old man was arrested Saturday by North Olmsted police and taken back to jail in the Cleveland suburb of Bedford.

Authorities say the man took off from the jail Tuesday afternoon after he walked out through what they said was a “faulty” door. Police said he had been arrested a day before on charges of theft and possession of criminal tools. Police say the man also was being held on warrants from other law enforcement agencies and a warrant accusing him of escape was issued after his getaway Tuesday.
