ROLLINSFORD, N.H. (AP) - Police have recovered four stolen guns in Strafford County and have subsequently launched an investigation into a southeastern New Hampshire teen suspected of dealing the firearms.

Chief Robert Ducharme tells Foster’s Daily Democrat (https://bit.ly/1Mqx7Bx ) that Rollinsford police only recently discovered that a 17-year-old resident was selling the stolen guns.

Ducharme says the stolen weapons were retrieved through a joint investigation with the Somersworth Police Department. Two guns were found in Somersworth while the other two were located in Rollinsford.

Ducharme says his department is “extremely pleased” that the firearms have been safely taken off the street.

Police say the teen, who wasn’t identified, has been brought before family court and is being treated as a juvenile.
