COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) - Richland County sheriff’s deputies have arrested two men in the shooting death of a man at a gas station earlier this month.

Lt. Curtis Wilson said in a statement Wednesday that 19-year-old Ibn Gadson and 21-year-old Ryan Alston have been charged with murder and two counts of armed robbery, kidnapping, assault and battery and possession of a weapon during a crime.

The men are charged in a Dec. 13 shooting that killed 20-year-old Jeremy Davis and injured another man in a car at the gas station.

Wilson said Gadson was arrested Saturday at his home in Moncks Corner. Alston was arrested Tuesday at his home in Eutawville.

Wilson said it appeared the men intended to rob the victims.

It was not clear if Gadson and Alston have lawyers.
