FREEHOLD, N.J. (AP) - A man and woman have been charged with murder in the 2011 death of a New Jersey man whose body was found inside his burning home.

Authorities say Ranu Sinha, of Manalapan, and Ellis Goodson, of Neptune, were accomplices in the July 2011 home invasion of Michael Conway’s Freehold home.

They pleaded not guilty Wednesday to first-degree murder, robbery and weapons offenses and were being held on $1.5 million bail. A spokesman for the prosecutor’s office wasn’t able to immediately identify their lawyers.

Authorities said Conway was killed in the home invasion before his home was deliberately set on fire. Two other men are charged in his death.

Thirty-six-year-old Sinha and 38-year-old Goodson were also charged in connection with two other 2011 home invasions in Howell and Neptune Township.
