RAYVILLE, La. (AP) - A 12-person Richland Parish jury has convicted a 33-year-old man of aggravated rape and indecent behavior with a juvenile.

District Attorney John M. Lancaster says Bradley Berry of Rayville faces a mandatory life sentence without benefit of probation, parole or suspension of sentence on the rape charge alone.

The News-Star reports (https://tnsne.ws/1mA2O6t ) a grand jury had indicted Berry after he allegedly molested two younger family members. The first crime occurred in 2002 when the victim was 10 and the second occurred in 2013 when another victim was 15.

Lancaster said Tuesday that Berry will be sentenced by state District Judge Terry Doughty on Feb. 17.
