CLAREMORE, Okla. (AP) - Rogers County authorities have arrested an Arizona man and woman after discovering more than 8 pounds of methamphetamine in their vehicle.

The Tulsa World (https://bit.ly/1ZpEVN7 ) reports that Rogers County Deputy Scotty Moree pulled over a vehicle Monday for not properly signaling before changing lanes. Moree said he told the driver that she was only going to get a warning and asked her to sit in his patrol car while her passenger remained in her vehicle.

A police report says Moree’s police dog alerted the officer to the meth, contained in four Christmas gift-wrapped boxes found in the trunk.

The two suspects were booked on a complaint of trafficking in illegal drugs.
