GOSHEN, Vt. (AP) - Vermont State Police detectives are investigating the discovery of human remains found in the town of Goshen.

State police say the remains were found Tuesday by a member of the public.

The remains have not been identified and no cause or manner of death has been determined.

A command post is being set up with the state police barracks in New Haven and Capt. J.P. Sinclair is leading the investigation.
