CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas (AP) - Police say seven people in Corpus Christi were injured and taken to local hospitals after a three-vehicle accident.

Authorities say none of the injuries from the early Thursday morning accident appear to be life threatening.

Investigators say a Ford truck driven by an 18-year-old man was traveling east on State Highway 358 when the driver lost control of his vehicle, hit a cement wall, traveled across all three lanes of the freeway and hit a Hummer.

The force of the impact pushed the Hummer onto a 2005 Ford Expedition that had six people.

Those injured included four children and three adults. All of the injured children were in the Ford SUV.

The accident closed the freeway for about an hour.
